The KDC disconnector consists of three poles that can be operated simultaneously using either a single operating mechanism with mechanical linkages between the poles or individual operating mechanisms for each pole. Known for its versatility and durability, the KDC has been deployed worldwide in diverse configurations and extreme environmental conditions, ranging from -50°C to +50°C, including icy, desert, and highly seismic regions. Its center-break design, featuring just two insulators per pole, offers a cost-effective solution for general disconnecting applications. The horizontal motion and optimized contact design minimize actuation torque, ensuring smooth and rapid operation. The insulating columns meet IEC standards, with custom heights and creepage distances available upon request. To accommodate various substation layouts, the poles can be installed traditionally (horizontally), wall-mounted, or even upside down. Like all our models, the KDC adheres to the latest international standards (IEC) but can also be tailored to meet specific customer requirements.
The Center-Break Earthing Switch is built to provide safe, reliable grounding for medium to high-voltage substations and electrical systems, making it an essential part of any power infrastructure.
